![]() Some Americans units started to move across the board. This was not a bad moment for the Americans to fire because the column disbanded automatically at the start of German Player Turn 3 any way. The German column was fired on by the Americans in the Defensive Fire Phase which allowed me to redeploy some units at the rear of the column in the next turn. The column took a right turn at the T junction and headed along the bocage during its second MPh. I also did not want to charge along the paved road to the crossroads with my StuG IIIGs until I had identified the position of American 57mm AT gun and perhaps at least one of the bazookas. The Germans had to exit at least 17 Exit VPs to win with 7 and a half turns to do so. As the name suggests, the Americans could put a road block to hinder road movement. Grenadier-Regiment supported by two StuG IIIGs from Panzerjäger-Abteilung 243 through the village. The action is set in the village of Neuville-au-Plain where elements of the American 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment armed with a 57mm AT gun were attempting to block the attack of the German 1058. This time we chose SM3 The Roadblock, a revised version on the new map of the original scenario number 18 from the out-of-print Paratrooper module (reprinted in Yanks2). ![]() ![]() We wanted to sharpen our skills with bocage and therefore decided to try another scenario from MMPs historical module Drop Zone: Sainte-Mère-Église. ![]()
